Song Gift Maker turns a few specific things about a person into a song written and recorded for them. Not a birthday song with a name dropped in — a song about the truck they rebuilt four times, or the thing they say every time they hang up the phone.
The whole idea is the details
Anyone can generate a song. What makes one land is that it could not have been written about anyone else. So the form asks for small, awkward, specific things — a habit, a phrase they always repeat, one story your family tells every year — and the song is built from those and nothing else.
We do not invent facts. If we were not told it, it does not go in the song. A single made-up detail is enough for the person listening to realise nobody actually thought about them.
You hear it before you pay
You write the lyrics with us and can change any line, free, as often as you like. Then we record the song and play you the first minute of the real recording. Only then is there anything to pay. What you unlock is the take you heard — we do not re-generate a different one after payment.
A gift that can answer
Every song gets a page of its own with a link and a QR code that do not expire. The person you send it to can write back from that page, and their reply goes to your inbox. As far as we know, no other song-gift service does this — and it is the part people tell us about afterwards.
Things we decided not to do
- No subscription. A gift is not a recurring purchase, and we are not going to pretend it is.
- No charging for the download. Some services hold the MP3 behind an extra fee. Holding back the thing you bought, in a gift, is a way to make people angry.
- No account. You should be able to buy a gift and leave.
- No reviewing replies before they appear. If someone writes back to you, you should see it immediately, not after we have vetted it.
It is AI, and we say so on the box
The lyrics and the recording are made by AI models. That is why it is $29 instead of $199 and why it takes minutes instead of a fortnight. Services with human songwriters exist and charge accordingly — if that is what you want, you should buy that instead. What is not automated here is the input: the song is only as particular as the things you tell us.
