Who you are buying from

Song Gift Maker is run by one person, not a company. We sell to people in the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. We do not currently sell elsewhere, and we are not set up to meet the trader-disclosure rules that apply in the UK, Ireland and the EU.

What you get

One song, written from the details you give us about someone, recorded, and delivered as an MP3 you can download plus a private page of its own. The page has a link and a QR code, it needs no account to open, and it does not expire. Whoever you send it to can write back, and their reply comes to your email.

It costs $29, once. There is no subscription and no account.

You hear it before you pay

You write the lyrics with us first and can edit any line as often as you like, free. Then we record the song and you hear the first minute of the actual recording — not a sample, not a different song — before any payment is taken. What you unlock is the recording you heard.

Sales are final once you unlock the song

Because you hear the recording before paying, purchases are final once the full song is unlocked.

If the recording still is not right, you can have the same words sung again — once, free. That is the remedy we offer, and the button is on your song page. See re-records and refunds.

The song is made by AI, and we say so

The lyrics and the recording are generated by AI models from what you write. We do not invent facts about the person: the song is built from the details you give us and nothing else. No human songwriter or singer is involved, which is why it costs $29 and arrives in minutes.

What you can do with the song

Keep it, play it, download it, and send the page to whoever it was made for. That is what we sell and that is what we can promise.

We are deliberately not telling you that you may use it commercially, perform it publicly, or upload it to streaming platforms. Not because we think you cannot — but because the rights we hold from the model provider do not clearly extend that far, and we have not been given a written answer. We would rather say nothing than tell you something we cannot stand behind. If that changes, this page changes with it.

What you tell us about someone else

The song is built from personal details about another person. By giving them to us you confirm you are comfortable doing so and that sharing the finished song with them is welcome. Do not use this to harass, impersonate, or embarrass anyone.

We will not write a song that targets someone, and we may decline or refund an order that reads that way.

When things break

If a song fails to generate, is never delivered, or you are charged twice, tell us and we will fix it or refund it. That is a different situation from not liking the recording, and we treat it differently.

We do not promise the service will always be available. We depend on other companies for payments, email, hosting and the AI models, and any of them can have a bad day.

Limits

If something goes wrong and it is our fault, what you can recover from us is limited to what you paid for the song. We are not liable for indirect losses — a missed birthday, a disappointed relative — and we say this plainly rather than burying it.

Changes

We may change these terms. The date at the top tells you which version you are reading. A change never applies backwards to a song you already bought.
